31 December — New Year’s Eve
Begin your stay with a welcome drink, settling into the rhythm of the village before the celebrations begin. After you’ve settled in and explored the village, get dressed up and join us for the St Mawes Hotel New Year’s Eve Party, a lively, spirited celebration where locals and visitors gather for arrival fizz, a four‑course dinner, live music and entertainment throughout the night, as the bar and restaurant become the vibrant heart of the festivities and the harbour welcomes the year ahead.
1 January — New Year’s Day
Ease into the first morning of the year with a late breakfast from 9–10.30am, complete with a Bloody Mary.
The rest of the day offers a choice of relaxed optional experiences shaped by the welcoming atmosphere of St Mawes Hotel:
New Year’s Day Lunch (12–4pm): A hearty, comforting Sunday‑style lunch with generous seasonal dishes and relaxed sharing plates, all designed for easy, cosy gathering.
Pizza & Quiz Night: Freshly made, stone‑baked pizzas paired with our lively quiz – a fun, sociable way to round off the evening.
Cinema Screenings: included for all resident guests; our 25 seater Hidden Cinema offers a cosy way to unwind with if the weather takes a turn!
Optional Early Arrival — 30 December
Ease into your stay with a preferential B&B rate for guests wishing to arrive on the 30th. Begin the celebrations a little earlier with a welcome drink and the gentle buzz of St Mawes as the village settles into the festive weekend.

To confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of your total stay at the time of booking. Should you cancel more than 4 weeks before the day of arrival, your deposit is fully refundable. Should you cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival, we regret that the full charge for the amount of your full stay will be charged.
