BOOKING AGREEMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
To confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of your total stay at the time of booking. Please note, for 1 night only stays 100% of your total stay is required at the time of booking.
Should you need to amend or cancel your reservation please contact our reservations team via email reservations@stmawes.com or via the booking partner you booked with.
1-3 Nights
Should you cancel more than 2 weeks before the day of arrival, your deposit is fully refundable.
Should you cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival, we regret that the full charge for the amount of your full stay will be charged.
All cancellations must be confirmed via e-mail reservations@stmawes.com, after the initial phone conversation.
4 Nights or More
Should you cancel more than 4 weeks before the day of arrival, your deposit is fully refundable.
Should you cancel within 4 weeks of your arrival, we regret that the full charge for the amount of your full stay will be charged.

5 Rooms or more
For bookings of 5 rooms or more within the same party, the cancellation policy is extended to 2 months.
The remaining 50% of your stay must be prepaid 2 months prior to your arrival.
We do advise you to ensure that you have adequate travel insurance in place to cover any unforeseen eventualities.
If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are forced to cancel or cut short your stay, we make every effort to find you alternative accommodation. We cannot be held responsible for any further costs incurred by you as a result.

PAYMENT
For all reservations, payment will be due on check-out by card. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques as payment.
VAT
VAT is included at the current rate but these prices are subject to change.
MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENTS
As the hotel is open all year round, you may find that there is necessary maintenance taking place during your visit. We will endeavour to keep any noise and inconvenience to a minimum.
CAR PARKING
We recommend parking in the long stay main carpark where tickets can be purchased for a longer term. For a shorter visit the Harbour has a smaller carpark opposite the hotel.
DOGS
At the St Mawes Hotel we have two bedrooms where a small, well behaved dog is most welcome to stay with its owner. For your arrival, we’ll prepare your room with a dog bed and towel, a welcome treat and a bowl for water. There is a one off charge of £30 for the full duration of your stay.
Regrettably the Upper Deck Restaurant is not dog friendly, however they are more than welcome in the Lower Deck.
FOOD & DRINK
With the exception of baby food, only food and drink that is purchased at the hotel may be consumed on the premises.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Rooms are guaranteed from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and we kindly ask that you vacate your room by 11.00am on the day of departure.
SMOKING
The hotel is entirely a no-smoking building, including the Upper Deck balcony.
DAMAGE
Any damage caused by any individual using the facilities of the St Mawes Hotel will be charged to that individual in full.
CHILDREN
All children will be booked onto the same accommodation terms as their parents or guardians.
Our Village View Family Room can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Please note there is an charge of £25 per night, per child inclusive of bed and breakfast.
BABYSITTING SERVICE
Our reception team can provide you with contact details of a local, recommended babysitter however the relationship is entirely between the babysitter and the parents and the hotel will not accept any responsibility within this arrangement.
